8th Annual Scholarship Gala

The Thomara Latimer Cancer Foundation (TLCF) celebrated its Eighth Annual Scholarship Gala by awarding scholarships to ten deserving young people pursuing careers in medicine.  The evening began with the procession and introduction of special guests. 

 These guests included:

former Chief of Police, City of Detroit
(Keynote Speaker)

Michael Horn,
Principal of Brace Lederle Elementary School, Southfield, MI
(presenter of scholarships)

Attorney Earnest Robinson,
baritone soloist

Mr. Napoleon, a "PK" (preacher's kid), delivered a dynamic message to the 300+  supporters, encouraging them to use time wisely.  Tomorrow is promised to no one.  The evening also included a silent auction.
